We see so much of this with sanctimonious vegans who gloat that their $20 burrito is “ethical” while simultaneously ignoring the privilege required to eat vegan *and* overlooking the human rights abuses involved in producing their food. For the record, I’m not saying that all vegans are this way, or that being vegan is unethical, just agreeing that it’s important to evaluate how we consume while recognizing that not everyone has the same access to resources.
