This is precisely the logic that has led to the U.S. being what it is today. You’re a 27 year old straight, White dude. You don’t get to benefit from centuries of racial terrorism, use your privilege to devour other cultures, then seriously think that your naive “expertise” will benefit said cultures because you’re tired of the U.S. Look at how well that cycle is working for the Indigenous and Black people who occupy in the space your ancestors built, who don’t have the means to just check out.

Suck it up, do some critical self reflection, then stick around and help dismantle what your ancestors built. This is shockingly tone deaf.
