These resources aren’t “objective,” though. They reflect a very particular political approach to addiction, and claiming otherwise dismisses those of us who have found alternate ways of coping. The vast majority of addicted people can learn to use moderately, contingent upon whether environmental factors change. You don’t owe anyone an explanation, but it’s also not useful to negate the masses for whom harm reduction is life saving.
