Thanks for responding. Ultimately I think you handled the situation fairly well, all things considered. I also imagine the info you got from police was accessible in other ways (including google). I think about the youth I’ve worked with, most Indigenous and unhoused, and feel immediate waves of terror at how severe the consequences could have been for them. Ultimately you had the sense not to do anything egregiously awful with the video (ie get on social media and start talking about it or sharing it), and I’m hopeful for a future where the cops become irrelevant.
