It’s interesting that you’ve positioned Heidegger alongside Arendt without mentioning their relationship. Was that purposeful (insofar as Arendt was emphatic about the personal not being political?). The two also diverged in thought in important ways, and I’m not sure that Arendt would agree that “thinking critically” is enough to disrupt the “banality of evil.” Thanks for writing.
