Ah, Oxford. My experience was very, very unusual, and I still feel that I have unfinished business there (for good reasons). It’s a surreal world, irrespective of county of origin (I’m Canadian, but stood out more for my Madness, history of homelessness, alcoholism, and getting expelled from my DPhil than that).
